This has been our go-to breakfast place since they opened. The location has housed many different diners, but none have made it past a few years, until now. Great food, fast friendly service, nice atmosphere.
First of all, it's not a coney. Inside it looks like a trendy hipster type diner. I only come here for breakfast so cannot comment on anything other than breakfast food. And it is all good.
I typically get the gyro omelet. Gyro meat is fried crispy and lots of it. Tzatiki sauce clearly home made. Portions HUGE. And prices are extremely reasonable.
Pancakes are also huge. Hash browns properly seasoned and tasty. Everything I have ever had here is very tasty.
A bit odd location, but well worth the trip. -

Delicious. Delightful. Welcoming. Stuffed. Great value. All synonyms for Plato's. I am very pleased with my first visit here. They are so welcoming and made me feel like a regular. Like this was an episode of Cheers Haha.
I ordered the loaded buffalo chicken fries and it was phenomenal. In fact I couldn't even finish it, there were so many fries. I met everyone from the waiter to the owner. I love that it's a family run business and they cater to the customer like they were also family. As I was writing this review, I mentioned that I was giving them 5 stars on here and they threw in a bang bang chicken strip just so I could try it. Cannot rave about the food and astronomical customer service enough.
Bravo ladies and gents, you have a hidden gem for sure. Will be back! -

We ate at Plato's on Friday. It was about 5 PM and the restaurant was almost empty. Three other tables. We both ordered fish dinners. One with fries & one with a baked potato. After about fifteen minutes, the cook put the fish with the baked potato in the window. The waitress told him that there was supposed to be two fish dinners. The waitress let the dinner sit in the window getting cold, while the cook prepared the second dinner. About ten minutes, by the time it was served, it was luke warm. Part of the baked potato was cold like it wasn't properly heated in the first place. The batter on the fish was too thick, and the fish left a lot to be desired.
Plus the menu is very limited. This will be my first & last time eating at Plato's. -

We come in from time to time when running around and what not, we've always had great food. I haven't tried anything I don't like. The waitresses are all super nice and will suggest new special items. Their food is high quality for a Coney Island and deserves the 5 stars!

Great place to stay in ketosis and have the best omelette in the city! The Mediterranean omelette never disappoints. Compliments to the chef!!
